Born in Bremerton. Built on Big Portions.

How It All Started

Johnny's Spice Bay started as a dream and a griddle. Johnny himself — a Bremerton native who'd spent years cooking in kitchens from Seattle to San Francisco — came home with one mission: build a place where everyone felt welcome, the coffee was always hot, and the portions were never small.

What started as a classic American diner quickly grew into something more. Regulars started asking for dishes from their own cultures, and Johnny — never one to say no to a good idea — started learning. Butter Chicken from a neighbor. Tandoori techniques from a friend. Dungeness crab from the local fishermen who'd stop in before dawn. The menu grew, and so did the family.

Today, Johnny's Spice Bay is a Bremerton institution. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, and our menu spans from Pacific seafood to Indian curries to hand-cut steaks. We're proud of every dish on that menu — and even prouder of the community that made us who we are.

What We Stand For

The Johnny's Spice Bay Way

Community First

We source locally whenever we can, support Bremerton businesses, and give back to the neighborhood that built us.

No Shortcuts

Every sauce is made from scratch. Every steak is hand-cut. Every pancake is made to order. That's just how we do it.

Everyone's Welcome

Our menu is as diverse as our guests. Whether you're craving a classic burger or Tandoori Chicken, there's a seat at our table for you.

Big Portions, Always

You will not leave hungry. That's not a promise — it's a guarantee. Come hungry. Leave happy.
